Desfilis advises the Armorine family group on its acquisition by Greenergy

Paris, June 18th, 2025 - Desfilis has advised the historical family shareholders of Armorine, an independent French player in the distribution of fuels and the manufacture of lubricants, on its acquisition by Greenergy, an international fuel supplier based in the UK.

Founded in 1932 and based in Brittany, Armorine has established itself as a key player in the French market, notably thanks to its network of oil depots, its integrated logistics and its ability to serve a diversified customer base, ranging from private individuals to professionals, throughout France. The company has recently committed itself to developing more sustainable energy solutions.

Greenergy (a subsidiary of Trafigura), which supplies around a quarter of the UK's road fuels and operates several biodiesel production units in Europe, marks its entry into the French market. The acquisition of Armorine will enable Greenergy to strengthen its presence in continental Europe and accelerate the development of alternative fuels.

This strategic operation, which is in line with Greenergy's ongoing European development, will provide Armorine with new resources, advanced logistics expertise and solid support for further growth.

Completion of the transaction remains subject to the necessary regulatory approvals, notably under European merger control.

The Desfilis team comprised :

  • Alexandre Piette, partner, Marine Debu and Océane Imbert, associates, on corporate aspects,
  • Marion Kahn, partner, on employment law aspects.
