Desfilis welcomes a new partner, Alexandre Piette.
Renowned for his expertise in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and corporate law, Alexandre Piette, a partner at DWF since 2019, joins DESFILIS.
Attracted by DESFILIS’ unique positioning and human values, Alexandre Piette will work across both of the firm’s divisions, “Family Groups and Executives” and “Mergers and Acquisitions – Private Equity.”
This arrival is fully in line with DESFILIS’ strategy, which aims to strengthen the complementary nature of each department’s expertise in order to offer a “tailor-made” service to each of its clients, whether they are family groups, executives, mid-sized companies, or investment funds.

About Alexandre Piette
A graduate of Paris XI University (Master’s degree in business law and taxation) and Evry University (DESS in mergers & acquisitions and corporate restructuring), Alexandre Piette also holds a Specialized Master’s degree in International Law and Management from ESSEC and an LL.M. from Columbia University (New York, USA) . Alexandre Piette began his career as a lawyer in the Corporate Department of De Pardieu Brocas Maffei (2004-2006) and then Linklaters (2006-2011). From 2011 to 2015, he worked in the Acquisition & Partnerships team at BNP Paribas, where he acquired an excellent knowledge of the financial sector. In 2015, he joined the law firm Scemla Loizon Veverka & de Fontmichel (SLVF) as a partner, which merged with Viguié Schmidt et Associés, to advise clients on transactional law and development strategies.
