Desfilis welcomes Jérôme Mas as Partner in Tax Law

Jérôme Mas focuses primarily on the tax aspects of M&A, restructuring and private equity transactions. With over 20 years of experience at renowned international and French law firms, he has recognized expertise in transactional taxation, particularly in LBO deals, where he has built a leading practice. He advises investment funds and management teams across the full range of their tax matters: due diligence, structuring, management packages and wealth structuring.

Jérôme has also built a highly regarded practice in real estate taxation. He advises key players in the sector — developers, “marchands de biens”, investment funds and family offices — on a day-to-day basis and at every stage of their projects, across markets including residential, office, hospitality, coworking/coliving and serviced residences.

Jérôme Mas began his career at Ashurst, before joining Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and then De Pardieu Brocas Maffei. He most recently practiced within the tax department of Winston Taylor in Paris.

Admitted to the Paris Bar since 2004, he holds a postgraduate degree (DESS) in Business and Tax Law from Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas. Jérôme Mas is a member of the Institut des Avocats Conseils Fiscaux (IACF).
