We had the immense pleasure of welcoming Nora Lakheal to a new “Women” breakfast, hosted by the firm’s partners.
The first woman to join the operational and specialized research unit of the Renseignements Généraux (French domestic intelligence service), Nora Lakheal is an expert on Islamist terrorist radicalization and the author of the book “Agente d’élite.” She now works as a consultant for various series and films, and is actively involved with young people.
Driven by a philosophy of self-transcendence forged through sport and boxing, she shared with us her extraordinary journey: from the working-class Barbès neighborhood of Paris to the counter-terrorism section of the criminal investigation division at 36, quai des Orfèvres, by way of hunting down terrorist cells and leading teams in extremely high-intensity environments.
