Desfilis has advised MSA Mizar on the acquisition of IMS, a French company specializing in outsourced claims management for Automotive and Multi-risk Home Insurance.
As a leading Italian operator in outsourced insurance claims management, MSA Mizar strengthens its ability to serve the French market through this transaction. Already active in France, this acquisition establishes MSA Mizar as a major player in the segment.
Founded in 2004, IMS provides comprehensive support in claims management, software development, centralized billing, and audits. Between 2020 and 2023, the French company experienced significant growth, doubling its revenue.
The acquisition of IMS, following the earlier purchase of VETA+ in Spain, is part of MSA Mizar’s broader strategy of sustained growth through diversification of its activities and national as well as international expansion. MSA Mizar currently manages over 150,000 claims annually and operates in seven European countries (Italy, Spain, France, Portugal, Belgium, Switzerland, and Albania).
