News release : Desfilis launches a Restructuring Practice with the Arrival of Fabrice Dalat and His Team

Desfilis launches a restructuring practice with the addition of Fabrice Dalat as a partner and his team: associate Elena Ader, and legal expert Déborah Desrey.

With over 20 years of experience, Fabrice specializes in addressing challenges faced by struggling businesses, both amicably and in court.

He provides assistance to judicial administrators, legal representatives, and executives of both public and private corporations, investment funds, and financial institutions regarding amicable procedures, recovery, or judicial liquidation. He also supports these executives or collective proceedings bodies, in litigation linked to collective proceedings.

In addition, he boasts expertise in commercial litigation, especially concerning contract enforcement and debt recovery processes.

"My decision to join Desfilis was greatly influenced by my desire to collaborate with a close-knit team, with whom I've forged strong working relationships over many years and whose values align closely with mine. Together, we aim to further develop a premium law firm, delivering a wide range of tailor-made services to our clients," said Fabrice Dalat.

Now 48 years old, Fabrice Dalat began his career at Wernert & Associés in 2002, where he worked for almost 6 years. After a stint at Poulain & Associés between 2008 and 2009, he became a partner at Wernert & Associés in 2011, then created his own structure in 2017 before joining the Herald firm in 2020.

Fabrice Dalat holds a Master's Degree in Business and Tax Law from the University of Panthéon Assas and has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2002. He is joined by associate Elena Ader, and legal expert Déborah Desrey.

Elena Ader is a lawyer specializing in business prevention and restructuring, as well as the legal treatment of business challenges.

Admitted to the Paris Bar in November 2020, she holds a Master's degree in International and European Law from the University of Toulouse Capitole, and an LLM in Comparative Private International Law from the University of Dundee.

Déborah Desrey has been working alongside Fabrice Dalat for over 15 years. She is involved in managing collective procedure files and litigation cases. Furthermore, she handles formalities related to acquisition operations and is responsible for the administrative and legal monitoring of various types of companies.

With Fabrice's arrival, the firm now counts 11 partners and 15 associates.
