Desfilis assists Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale on the acquisition of the Dambach forest

Desfilis advises Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale on the acquisition of shares in Groupement Forestier Vosges Nord, owner of the Dambach forest, one of the five largest private forests in France.

Deforestation, uncontrolled fires and climate change are threatening our forests more than ever.

As a committed player in the fight against climate change, Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale has decided to use the social dividend from the Fonds de Révolution Environnementale et Solidaire to help protect our ecosystem and has acquired a 4,600-hectare carbon sink located in Alsace Moselle, the group's historic stronghold.

The Desfilis team working alongside the Crédit Mutuel group was made up of Sébastien Sayn-Urpar, partner, Marine Debu and Océane Imbert, associates, on the corporate law and M&A aspects.

The Crédit Mutuel group was also supported by Thibierge Notaires, with a team comprising Julien Miara, notary partner, assisted by Raphaël Motin and Célia Alliti, notaries.
