Desfilis advises Gritchen on its merger with Guémas, becoming the 13th largest broker in France

Paris, 15 September 2023 - Desfilis assisted Gritchen, major French insurance broker, in relation to its merger with Guémas.

 

The merger of these two companies will create the 13th largest broker in France, with more than 300 employees, 80 agents and a network of partner brokers in 150 countries, generating more than €50 million in sales.

 

The Gritchen Assurances group was founded in 1999 and is the 20th largest general insurance broker in France. With almost 70 employees, Gritchen is a multi-specialist broker active in the various brokerage businesses through its various subsidiaries. The company provides a wide range of services in travel insurance, property and casualty insurance and liability insurance, as well as group health, provident and retirement insurance.

 

The Guémas Group was founded in 1938. With more than 160 employees, the group is also a multi-specialist broker operating in a range of sectors, including fleet and transport, franchising, construction, personal and private insurance.
